Voici les étapes de base pour enregistrer la Nitrokey Pro ou la Nitrokey Storage comme second facteur d’un compte Google :

1. Allez sur `https://myaccount.google.com/security#signin <https://myaccount.google.com/intro/security>`___.

2. Cliquez sur « Vérification en 2 étapes » sur le côté droit.

3. You need to define a first 2-Step Verfication (e.g. your phone number) method to have access to the alternative second step option (the first 2-Step Verification can’t be the security key)

4. Choisissez « Authenticator App » comme deuxième étape (bien que vous n’ayez pas besoin de l’application).

5. Choose Android and press on “Can’t scan it” below the QR code to see the secret key

6. Copy the key (you can ignore the whitespaces, they do not get copied anyway) and paste the key into the corresponding field in the Nitrokey App

7. Cliquez sur « Suivant » et suivez les instructions (mais vous utilisez l’application Nitrokey au lieu de l’application Google Authenticator pour générer les clés).

8. It is possible to use the same secret key for the Google Autenticator app and the Nitrokey App as well. Just make sure to follow the above procedure and use the QR code for the Authenticator app afterwards before clicking “Next”. Now you can use either the Google Authenticator app or the Nitrokey App.
