Nitrokey App 1¶
Die Nitrokey App 1 ist eine grafische Anwendung zur Verwaltung von Nitrokey Pro- und Nitrokey Storage-Geräten. Für Nitrokey 3-Geräte verwenden Sie bitte Nitrokey App 2.
Verfügbare Sprachen: Englisch, Deutsch, Französisch, Italienisch, Polnisch und Arabisch. Um die Sprache zu ändern, muss die Anwendung neu gestartet werden.
Installation¶
The latest Nitrokey App is version 1.4.2 (Release notes, PGP signatures and older versions).
Die veröffentlichten Binärdateien sind mit folgendem PGP-Schlüssel signiert: 868184069239FF65DE0BCD7DD9BAE35991DE5B22 szczepan@nitrokey.com.
Linux¶
Alpine Linux

Ubuntu
The Nitrokey App is included in Ubuntu’s repositories since Ubuntu 18.04 (codename ‚bionic‘) on.
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt install nitrokey-app
Leider sind die App-Versionen in den offiziellen Ubuntu-Repositories oft nicht aktuell.
More recent App versions
Um die aktuellste Nitrokey-App zu erhalten, können Sie ein separates Repository hinzufügen, das von Nitrokey gepflegt wird.

$ sudo apt install nitrokey-app

AppImage
AppImage provide everything that is needed for execution and does not need to be installed. See here for our latest Nitrokey-App.AppImage file. After downloading the file, you need to make the file executable. You can do this by right-clicking on the file and choosing „Properties“. Look for the option to make the file executable there.
Flatpak
$ flatpak install flathub com.nitrokey.nitrokey-app
$ flatpak run com.nitrokey.nitrokey-app

Bemerkung
Es gibt ein Problem mit dem aktuellen Snap-Paket. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass scdaemon installiert ist, indem Sie folgenden Befehl eingeben:
$ apt-get update && apt-get install scdaemon
in a terminal and follow the instruction below.
The latest Nitrokey App is available as Snap package which is available for many Linux distributions and which ensures that you always have the latest version installed. Snap is already installed on Ubuntu, for distributions like Arch, Debian, Fedora, or Gentoo you need to install snapd first. As soon as you have Snap installed you can open a terminal and type
$ sudo snap install nitrokey-app --devmode
um die Nitrokey-App zu installieren. Sie können sie nun wie gewohnt nutzen, z. B. indem Sie Alt + F2 drücken und „nitrokey-app“ eingeben.
Troubleshooting
In case you get the error failed to create user data directory. errmsg: Permission denied during starting the Nitrokey App, it may is because your home directory is encrypted. In this case, apply one of these fixes [1] [2].
