Nitrokey App 2¶
The Nitrokey App 2 is a graphical application designed to manage Nitrokey 3 and Nitrokey Passkey devices. It provides a user-friendly interface for passkey management, passwords, firmware updates, and the FIDO2 and Passwords PINs. The application interface is available in English.
Bemerkung
This application is compatible with Nitrokey 3 and Nitrokey Passkey devices. For Nitrokey Pro and Nitrokey Storage devices, please use Nitrokey App 1.

Welcome Screen¶
The welcome screen allows quick access to check the current app version, saving log files, and getting support.
App Version¶
Um sicherzustellen, dass Sie die neueste Version der Anwendung verwenden, klicken Sie auf „Nach App-Update suchen“. Wenn keine Updates verfügbar sind, zeigt die Schaltfläche „App ist auf dem neuesten Stand“ an. Wenn ein Update verfügbar ist, ändert sich der Text der Schaltfläche in „Update verfügbar“. Wenn Sie noch einmal darauf klicken, wird die GitHub-Seite geöffnet, auf der die neueste Version angezeigt wird. Von hier aus können Sie die Binärdatei herunterladen, wenn Sie eine manuelle Installation durchführen möchten.
Log File¶
The “Save Log File” option lets you export a record of the application’s recent activity, including actions, errors, and system messages. This log file can help diagnose and resolve issues with the application.
