Opnieuw installeren van het besturingssysteem

Waarschuwing

Booting this USB drive entirely erases all data on the hard disk or SSD of the NitroPad without further warning. Don’t boot this USB drive on any computer which contains data you want to keep. Make sure to format the USB drive after the intended use.

1. Download the latest Stable Release of the operating system images: Ubuntu Linux, Qubes OS

2. Optioneel: Download hash sum en verifieer de gedownloade image van het besturingssysteem.

3. Schrijf de image van het besturingssysteem naar een USB-stick. Mogelijke toepassingen:

   • Vensters: Rufus, balenaEtcher;

   • Linux: dd, balenaEtcher;

   • macOS: dd, balenaEtcher.

4. Sluit de USB drive aan op je NitroPad en start hem op. Selecteer in het hoofdmenu Bootopties -> USB Boot.

5. Gebruik op Qubes de versie “latest Kernel” van de installatieopties

6. Afhankelijk van het besturingssysteem kan het nodig zijn de herinstallatie ervan te bevestigen.

7. Sign the boot partition (Heads only).

Om te voorkomen dat waardevolle gegevens per ongeluk worden overschreven, moet u de USB-drive naderhand formatteren.
