  • You can test the Nitrokey Passkey using nitropy with nitropy nkpk test.

Windows

Om te controleren of de Nitrokey Passkey correct wordt herkend, open je Apparaatbeheer en controleer je of de Nitrokey Passkey als USB-apparaat wordt weergegeven.

macOS

To check whether the Nitrokey Passkey is correctly recognized, open the System Report and check for the Nitrokey Passkey appearing as a USB device. Otherwise you can run the following command in the terminal to check if your system recognizes the Nitrokey Passkey.

system_profiler SPUSBDataType | grep Nitrokey

Linux

To check whether the Nitrokey Passkey is correctly recognized, check if it is shown with lsusb.

Als de Nitrokey niet wordt gedetecteerd, ga dan als volgt te werk:

  1. Copy this file 41-nitrokey.rules to /etc/udev/rules.d/. In very rare cases, the system will need the older version of this file.

  2. Herstart udev via sudo service udev restart of udevadm control --reload-rules && udevadm trigger als je Fedora gebruikt.
