Estes são os passos básicos para registrar o Nitrokey Pro ou Nitrokey Storage como um segundo fator de uma conta do Google:

1. Ir para https://myaccount.google.com/security#signin

2. Clique em «Verificação em 2 etapas» no lado direito

3. Você precisa definir um primeiro método de Verificação em 2 etapas (por exemplo, seu número de telefone) para ter acesso à opção alternativa de segunda etapa (a primeira Verificação em 2 etapas não pode ser a chave de segurança)

4. Escolha «Authenticator App» como segundo passo (embora você não precise do app)

5. Choose Android and press on “Can’t scan it” below the QR code to see the secret key

6. Copy the key (you can ignore the whitespaces, they do not get copied anyway) and paste the key into the corresponding field in the Nitrokey App

7. Clique em «Next» e siga as instruções (mas você usa o Nitrokey App em vez do Google Authenticator app para gerar as chaves)

8. It is possible to use the same secret key for the Google Autenticator app and the Nitrokey App as well. Just make sure to follow the above procedure and use the QR code for the Authenticator app afterwards before clicking “Next”. Now you can use either the Google Authenticator app or the Nitrokey App.
