  • On WebAuthn.io you can check various high-level functionalities, while webautn.bin.coffee provides good developer level details (technical) details.

  • Check if the LED is working as expected.

  • You can test the Nitrokey Passkey using nitropy with nitropy nkpk test.

Windows

Pour vérifier si la Nitrokey Passkey est correctement reconnue, ouvrez le Gestionnaire de périphériques et vérifiez si la Nitrokey Passkey apparaît en tant que périphérique USB.

macOS

To check whether the Nitrokey Passkey is correctly recognized, open the System Report and check for the Nitrokey Passkey appearing as a USB device. Otherwise you can run the following command in the terminal to check if your system recognizes the Nitrokey Passkey.

system_profiler SPUSBDataType | grep Nitrokey

Linux

To check whether the Nitrokey Passkey is correctly recognized, check if it is shown with lsusb.

Si le Nitrokey n’est pas détecté, procédez comme suit :

  1. Copy this file 41-nitrokey.rules to /etc/udev/rules.d/. In very rare cases, the system will need the older version of this file.

  2. Redémarrez udev via sudo service udev restart ou udevadm control --reload-rules && udevadm trigger si vous utilisez Fedora.
