Atualização do Firmware

Este guia descreve como actualizar o firmware na Nitrokey 3.

Importante

Please read the general firmware update instructions before! Since for specifc versions there are limitations regarding what data is possible to migrate to the new version.

Setup

Instale a nitropia numa VM de aplicação à sua escolha seguindo as instruções de instalação de ``_.

Como atualizar

Importante

Nunca desconecte a Nitrokey 3 ou aborte o processo durante a atualização, isso provavelmente tornará seu aparelho inútil!

  1. Executar nitropy nk3 reboot --bootloader na VM da aplicação.

  2. Toque no dispositivo para ativar o bootloader (uma vez instruído por nitropy)

  3. This will detach the Nitrokey from the app VM, and the bootloader will apear in sys-usb.

  4. Attach the bootloader to the app VM.

  5. Run nitropy nk3 update and follow the instructions.

  6. During the finalization the Nitrokey will be detached. Re-attach the Nitrokey back to th app VM to finish the update.

No caso de algum erro, por favor pegue os logs de /tmp directório (/tmp/nitropy.log.*).
