Firmware-uppdatering med Qubes OS

Den här guiden beskriver hur du uppdaterar Nitrokey 3:s firmware med nitropy i Qubes OS.

Viktigt

Please read the general firmware update instructions before! Since for specifc versions there are limitations regarding what data is possible to migrate to the new version.

Hur du uppdaterar

Viktigt

Koppla aldrig bort Nitrokey 3 eller avbryt processen under uppdateringen, eftersom det sannolikt kommer att göra din enhet obrukbar!

  1. Kör nitropy nk3 reboot --bootloader i app VM.

  2. När du har fått instruktioner från nitropy, rör vid enheten för att aktivera bootloader.

  3. This will detach the Nitrokey from the app VM, and the bootloader will apear in sys-usb.

  4. Attach the bootloader to the app VM.

  5. Run nitropy nk3 update and follow the instructions.

  6. During the finalization the Nitrokey will be detached. Re-attach the Nitrokey back to th app VM to finish the update.

Om du får några fel kan du hämta loggarna från katalogen /tmp (/tmp/nitropy.log.*).
